Rubber Safety Play and Exercise Room Mats: Applications

PJP Rubber offers a large range of safety play mat products, ideal for homes, schools and nurseries or anywhere where child safety is paramount. All our rubber safety mats are designed to cushion falls. The depth of the mat supplied can be varied according to requirements as thicker; more impact absorbing mats are needed in areas where apparatus such as climbing frames are used. There is a 'Critical Fall Height' chart to indicate the required mat thickness and we will be happy to help you find the exact mat for your needs.

Being porous our mats are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Any liquid will quickly drain away to ensure that rain etc. doesn't stop play for long and keeping any risk of slipping to a minimum.

Here at PJP Rubber we believe that play and fun should be open to everyone. To this end we can install rubber play mats with ramped edges and corners to make the play surface accessible to wheel chairs as well as avoiding trip hazards. And of course our Safety Play Mats are available in a range of colours and can include letters, numbers, games or personalised logos.

We were delighted to have been asked to supply 100 sq. metres of EPDM bright colour mats to the charity The Orthopedic Training Centre. The OTC works with handicapped people in Ghana, helping them to gain independence and live productive lives. They felt our mats would be ideal in helping children to recover from surgery and aid them in their rehabilitation by making a comfortable, bright and fun room for them. It is wonderful to see the youngsters looking so happy in their new environment.

As you would expect all our Safety mats have a 12 month manufacturer's product guarantee. The life of the mats does depend on use, but as a rough guide each one should last at least five years, some are still in use over ten years after installation.
